Transitional Cinema documents characters whom are navigating the in-between while experimenting with aesthetics and exploring different ways to tell stories. 

PONTENG SEKOLAH

Synopsis:

An academically- excellent student running away from her problems at school, only to encounter a troubled boy playing truant by the train tracks. They spend the day together, eventually forcing them to confront their own personal tragedies.

Synopsis:
A filmmaker's grieving journal: a trip back to her hometown while revisiting three months of daily conversations prior to the passing of her dementia-ridden grandmother.

Synopsis:

A film lecturer visits his depressed student and participates in the reading of the young man's latest script. The lines between reality and fiction starts to blur.

Synopsis:

A grandmother prepares to conduct the Qing Ming ritual. The grief of losing her husband parallels the absence of her grandson. .

DOGS (Proof-of-concept Film)

​

Synopsis:

A young couple started dating when he was in quarantine for chicken pox.  They hang on to the past by using each other. They become like Pavlov's dogs - salivating over the bell but longing for food
